Sri Swami Vishwananda Satsang in which he speaks of animals, cruelty, karma, how to help...
"…how to react on the cruelty of animals; help the animal and not only domestic animals. For example, in Kenya, Africa, we are helping animals which have been collected from the streets. I am sure here, also, there are many animals on the streets which are helped. We can help. And when you are helping, know that God abides in tune with animals also. When you are helping the animal, you are helping also the Divine..."

Dear Babaji,
If helping an animal is helping God so what about not helping any man who is poor, hungry, cold or homeless regardless of his nationality, caste or creed... it is enough to at least approach such a person with care and concern. Indifferance is the disease of the selfishness and small random acts of care matter the most in life! And what if it is God Himself coming to us as an outcast or a bagger?jgd
