Project Energy on Thought, It Manifests

Swami Vishwananda said in Helsinki, Finland this week: The thoughts often are judgmental. That is why you have to watch your thoughts. The moment the thought manifests inside yourself, if you focus on it and project energy on this thought, then it gets manifested. Whatever you focus with the mind it will be amplified. That is why if you chant any Divine name, your mind will dwell in the Divine. And when you remember continually the Divine, you will attain it.

When I Pray

WHEN I PRAY
Sri Swami Vishwananda

Sri Swami Vishwananda teaches Atma Kriya Yoga as given to Him by Mahavatar Babaji when He was five years of age. Gurudev says:"Meditation is an important element in thinking with the heart as you sit with yourself in silence.”

You have to be happy by chanting, by doing your prayer to the Lord, because He’s always with you. Your parents, your mum and dad, will be with you for some time, but He always will be with you. He was with you from the beginning and He always will be with you until the end, until you realize your Self
and until you attain Him. He’s your best friend, He’s the only one that you can really trust, and He’s the only one that gives solutions for everything.

You try to imagine how close God is with the mind. It’s difficult, isn’t it? The mind will never let you imagine God. When you start thinking with the mind of the heart, then you may realize Divinity completely. How does one think with the heart? Meditation is an important element in thinking with the heart as you sit with yourself in silence. Jesus said, “When you pray, go to the darkest corner of your house, close yourself in and talk with your Father.” Christ meant for you to go into the inner chamber of your heart and speak with God. Talk with your true Self, and you will receive an answer. So, what exactly is in this inner chamber of the heart? Therein is just love, nothing else!

Reincarnation:From a Divine and a "Country Music" Perspective

Reincarnation: From Divine Perspective

This body will go back to Earth and it will go back to the same five elements it used to be. But if this is the reality, if the body is the only reality, then what is God? Where is the Divinity? This great energy that makes the body work, that makes the body act, is the Spirit and it’s who you really are. If you were the body, would you still be alive even after death? Whereas being the Spirit, you continuously live till you become completely one with the Divine [reincarnating again and again]. Work for this reality. Work and love God.

Love's Pearls of Wisdom by Mahavatar Babaji 27/10/2011

LOVE'S PEARLS OF WISDOM

You have a saying: “Ours is not to wonder why; ours is but to do and die.” How is it that wondering the ‘why’ of things keeps one mired in the ‘why’ energy itself? It readily can be understood that the mind of man can only think of one thing at a time. You can multi-task but still the mind is thinking of one thing. So thinking of the ‘why of things’ will freeze your mind into that pattern of energy. One then does not find ‘peace of mind” but only wondering or worrying about the ‘why.” One must first regain his stability and control of the ego-mind and then take action to stop this incessant wondering and thinking about why this or why that is happening in our lives. Remember the mind always doubts and thinks “why this or that,” but the Heart knows if one truly desires to know the truth of life.

Meditation with Sri Swami VIshwananda

MEDITATION

By Sri Swami Vishwananda given 22 October 2011
This meditation is being placed on audio CD with Swami’s
beautiful voice and music. . .
Order from :www. bhaktishop.de

Close your eyes and focus on your Third Eye.

Take any Divine Form in your mind.

Repeat the name of your chosen Form. . .

For example Narayana.

Let the form cover your face.

Let the form cover your upper body.

See yourself sitting inside the Divine Form

And feel the Love you receive.

You can ask anything you want.

Let yourself grow now so that you see yourself
[sitting inside the Divine Form, and stay awhile here].

Go now to your third eye
[stay awhile here].

Calmly open your eyes.

Note from Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama:
I encourage you to obtain this CD and experience this opportunity Gurudev is offering for you to feel the Love that comes from the Divine Form you have chosen as you “Sit inside the Divine Form,” Swami’s energy will be guiding and helping you through the sound of His beautiful voice and His Omnipresence.

This often happens to me with Mahavatar Babaji. While on tour with Paartha this summer, at one o’clock in the morning, a woman devotee of Sri Swami Vishwananda and I were sitting opposite each other and alone in her house talking about the wonder of Mahavatar Babaji and Sri Swami Vishwananda in our lives. Suddenly, her face became radiant and she exclaimed: “Babaji is sitting on my sofa! I see Him in front of your face. This “Sitting inside the Divine Form” had just manifested with Babaji and I was aware of myself “Sitting inside His Golden Light Body” and I felt and saw him in front of my face. She explained that nothing like this had happened to her before! Truly, it was the Grace and Love of Gurudev and Mahavatar Babaji that manifested this experience for both of us.

Sri Swami Vishwananda speaks of "Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam" / E-Card

E-Card by Mahavatar Babaji 24/10/2001

Darshan with Sri Swami Vishwananda
22 October 2011
Sri Swami Vishwananda illuminates the two practical and necessary elements on the Spiritual Path in his wonderful Talk of 22 October 2011 at Shree Peetha Nilaya (Springen, Germany).

MEDITATION CD:
Gurudev also gave a meditation, which will be available shortly on Audio CD (for further details, please contact the Bhakti Shop website : www. Baktishop).

LISTEN to Sri Swami Vishwananda's Talk:

MANASA BHAJARE GURU CHARANAM
Gurudev said: "We were singing “Manasa Bhajarie Guru Charanam,” This means:
The lord who governs the mind, make me able to control my mind."

Darshan, or Sight, of Sri Swami Vishwananda and Maha Lakshmi in different ways

Sri Swami Vishwananda sitting on a raised dais
at Shree Peetha Nilaya (ashram)
giving Darshan (Sight of the Guru) 22 October 2011

Swami Vishwananda sat on a dais (a raised platform) so that devotees could have Darshan, or Sight, of the Guru. In the past Gurudev has sat at floor level and often it is difficult to see him during Darshan.

Many have read or heard stories of how the Darshan "sight" of a picture of Sri Swami Vishwananda has changed lives in a spontaneous and powerfully Divine way. The following video speaks of the "making" of a photograph of Maha Lakshmi which provides Darshan of Maha Lakshmi for those who have "sight" of Divine Mother in this way!

Darshan of Maha Lakshmi. . .
in a different way than the above Darshan of Sri Swami Vishwananda (both can be equally illuminating and devotional). We are placing this video here to show this artist/photographer's explanation of how a photograph can create the same spiritual response within a person as Sight Darshan of the Guru or Deity such as Maha Lakshmi. What is possible with Darshan (sight) of a photograph to which you resonate, such as a picture of Sri Swami Vishwananda)? -Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama

Letter from Mahavatar Babaji 22 October 2011

Dearly Beloveds:

In a time long ago, in a land that now lies below the surface of the ocean deep; there was a civilization of God-loving mankind. When a time came in the development of these peoples where a test was given from the Divine, they ran toward the material world and away from the Divine whom they had known for so long. Through choices they made in lifestyle, scientific development, leadership and human relations their civilization deteriorated into the lower realms of the material world. Eventually, an earthquake occurred and this once God-loving civilization was lost beneath the ocean waves caused by the quaking and splitting of the Earth.

Today in your world, this same testing is occurring in a way greater than this past civilization. You see, the whole world is in a testing phase of humanity. It is said in the Bible: “You cannot serve both God and mammon.” In has been interpreted that mammon is defined as money. This word at the time the original scripture was written in another language had a broader meaning. Mammon means, then and now, the world economy, governments, social conditions, human relations and all that belongs to the material world. You cannot serve both God and the things of this material world! You are given the mandate by the Divine to experience the things of this world but without attachment.

This world today is undergoing a similar test of this civilization of a time past. Where do you stand and how are you reacting in your life and from within to this present-day world situation? I tell you truly that the way to contribute to the whole of mankind in these trying times is to stay centered in the Heart space. Stay focused on the Divine as you go through your day and dedicate all that you experience in the material world to God. Chant the name of God until it is an intricate part of your being and always echoing in your heart and mind. It is in this way that you become safe, or saved as the Christian tradition teaches, in these times of trouble.

Be so focused on the Divine that even an earthquake will not shake your inner connection with the Divine and your peace and Love within.

Mahavatar Babaji

KRISHNA:

Be fearless and pure; never waver in your determination or your dedication to the spiritual life. Give freely. Be self-controlled, sincere, truthful, loving, and full of the desire to serve. Learn to be detached and to take joy in renunciation. Do not get angry or harm any living creature, but be compassionate and gentle; show good will to all. Cultivate vigor, patience, will, purity; avoid malice and pride. Then, you will achieve your destiny.

Krishna: Bhagavad Gita

Punctuation is Important: The Face of The Divine

The word surrender means the surrendering of one’s mind to the Lotus Feet of the Lord. That in fact is what one has to surrender. The Lord has everything else as you know! But your mind when it is surrendered to the Lotus Feet of the Lord gains peace, it gains happiness, it gains joy, it gains freedom. As long as one does not surrender the mind, one is a slave of the mind.

The true Self of man is Satchidananda.
Sat – Being, and through Sat – existence.
Only as a mere human, without realizing the Chid and Ananda,
You can’t come to the point of complete realization only with
This one aspect of Sat.

You can’t come to the point of complete realization only with
The two aspects of Chid and Ananda.
Chid – Consciousness
And then this Ananda – bliss.

So the human being is Satchidananda—
The body, the mind and the soul, which is everlasting.

-Sri Swami Vishwananda

A SHORT STORY
The following little story demonstrates beautifully how our social conditioning from the cradle to the grave influences our lives. It clearly shows how the minds of men and women think we are separate from each other, everything and God. It is only when we control our minds and surrender to the Unity of The Divine Love within our hearts that we attain the Divine. If we do not learn how to control our minds and protract or extend this ego-mind-control into the Heart and remember what is spiritually right, we reincarnate again and again. This is how life works on this planet. The Avatars, the Spiritual Teachers like Sri Swami Vishwananda and Mahavatar Babaji come from higher planes of existence to help us control our minds, find the Love which we truly are within our Hearts, become free and, thereby, attain The Divine. It is said: “The longest journey in life is just those 18 inches from head to Heart!

Story: Punctuation is Important

An
English professor wrote on the whiteboard the words:
"A woman without her man is nothing"
He asked his students to correctly punctuate this sentence.

The males in the class punctuated the sentence this way:
"A woman
, without her man, is nothing.
"

The females in the class punctuated the sentence this way:
"A woman
: without her, man is nothing."

The Face of the Divine

There’s just something about that beautiful face!
In Darshan, it moves the smallest child,
And a babe just born, when he whispers
Eternal secrets into its tiny ear! . . .
And an old person wrinkled and tired
Living in time’s doorway.
Yes! and even a young girl and boy
In the first throes of human love,
Who forgets the other,
In that timeless moment
Of looking into the Guru's eternal, mystical eyes.
There is just something about that face !!!

A ransom was paid so that face could appear
In our world today.
The Avatar descends unto this beautiful
Blue and white planet, as observed from space,
From the Heavenly realms to put a Face
On the formless God for mankind.

Then man can relate to this personal God.
One known as Vishnu appeared as a Fish,
A Dwarf, a Boar and Part-lion—Part-man.
And then -- BEHOLD. . .

Narayana-Vishnu appeared as Krishna,
The one who attracts,
In an other-worldly, beautiful BLUE form
To attract the eyes and hearts of humankind first,
And then the eternal teachings followed their own plan!

Christ Jesus showed us the compassionate way:
Greater Love hath no one than he who
would give up his life for others. . .his fellowman.”

Our own Sri Swami Vishwananda
Appeared just like the Great Lord Krishna,
In our day and our time
With . . .
Well . . .
There is just something about that
Beautiful, Beloved-ed BROWN Face,
This time,
That words alone cannot describe
Or even attempt to explain!

So let it be as you look into His
Eyes of Eternity in Darshan. . .
Open your Heart to Love,
That which he radiates and
Teaches each day of his life!
And then you will know also
About him . . .
That which cannot ever
Sufficiently be spoken
In mere words of man.

There is just something about that
Mystical, ethereal, magnificent, Divine God-Face !!!
Om and Amen!

Loves Pearls of Wisdom by Mahavatar Babaji - 20/10/11

Once there was a man wandering in a field of wild, violet orchids. He smelled their unworldly fragrance. He heard the birds singing in the treetops. He felt the wind upon his bare skin. He loved this feeling of peace and was happy in the present moment. The violet orchids touched his heart as they were the favorite of his mother. The wind cooled his skin and reminded him of the breeze when he would swing his son in his lap in his infancy. The birds singing brought to his mind a beautiful song he once heard an orchestra play.

All these things from the past the man connected with the present moment. This is good in itself and only for the moment. Do not hang onto the past when these things come to mind for you. There is no connection, in reality, from the past to the present moment, see? It is your mind that creates this and many times it is the cause of your suffering. Learn to control the mind and live in the present moment because that is all the time you have in reality.

And in the present moment, Eternity resides!

Offering a Helping Hand Sans Pride and Ego

Sri Swami Vishwananda offering a helping hand
by answering questions during Satsang

Once you have changed yourself and you have gone above that, then you can tell somebody as a help. Then it will not be personal. It will not be out of the pride or the ego but it will be out of love because you want that person, also, to reach that level. If somebody is doing something not good, you will tell them: 'Look, you can do it like this or like that.' Then it will not be out of the pride or the ego."

This is Bhakti

THIS IS BHAKTI

Sri Swami Vishwananda

Isn’t it beautiful to sing the name of Narayana?
Let yourself be drawn into it.
Such is the greatness of the name of God,
Whoever is singing with an open heart, whoever
is singing the name of God with faith, will be
pulled more inside of it.

See, the more you go into it, the more you lose
yourself in this Divine name.
The identity of being human disappears.
Then what stays is only the Divine
and that is what you really are.
If we remove the body, who are you?
The soul, isn’t it?

We are the soul with a stain on it.
The stain is in the mind.
However, by singing the name of God;
any aspect, Krishna, Jesus, Allah, one
begins to remove these stains.
But it has to be sung with devotion and love.

It is nice when you join together and sing
the name of God.
It creates a vibration,
an urge to merge with God.
That’s why it is very important
wherever you are, find a few
people and sing.

If you don’t know how to sing,
just recite His names.
While you are reciting, picture
the form in your mind.
Keep concentrating on the form
and let yourself go.|
Let yourself merge into the Divine energy.
And enjoy it!

Remove all the darkness and barriers
from the mind – jump in.
This is BHAKTI!

Letter from Babaji: Jesus said: "For Ye Have the Poor with Ye Always"

Jesus Said: “For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.” This is difficult for some to accept when they look, for instance, at the great wealth of the Catholic Church and the large amounts of energy in the form of monetary means it takes to build the monolithic Catholic Cathedrals around this world. And there are many instances like this where if this money were used to feed and help the poor it would eliminate much suffering. This is one of the mysteries of how God allows such things through free will and how He interacts with this planet and its peoples.

When Christ Jesus said this about the poor always being with you, he knew that soon he would be crucified for the sins of this world. Christ knew he would be an example by showing a way for man, both the rich and the poor, to attain God and the Kingdom of Heaven within. This is done, as Jesus showed, by surrendering everything— even one’s life itself. During this time Mary Magdalene anointed the feet of Jesus with “costly” oil and some of the disciples complained that the money spent on the oil could have helped the poor instead. The disciples knew that Jesus did not choose to have anything of the material world but that he had everything as he had God!

It is your duty to help the poor when you can. Now, do something yourself to help the needy. It is your duty as a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, as in any Tradition you follow, and as a Human Being alive in God today in your time. It is written, so let it be!

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi today (1918) - Arati Sung by Swami Vishwananda

Yagna at Shree Peetha Nilaya - a part of the celebrations today of the Maha Samadhi of
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.
TODAY IS SRI SHIRDI SAI BABA'S MAHASAMADHI 1918
i

The Arati in the video above is sung by Sri Swami Vishwananda

.
Prayer to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba (Translated Arati words)

Oh Sai Baba, we wave this light before You, the bestower of happiness to the individual being. Give your servants and devotees respite under the dust of Your feet. Destroying desire through the flame, You remain absorbed in Your Self and show the Lord to us who aspire to see Him. To the one who preseveres in intense spiritual practice in order that they may see this vision, You give experiences or realisations accordingly. Kind hearted One, Your power is so great. Meditation on your name removes our fear of this ocean of worldly existence. The way You work is impossible to understand as You always help the poor and helpless. In this Kali age, you the all pervasive Dattatreya, have truly incarnated as Sagun Brahma. Take away the fears of Your devotees who come to worship You regularly, so as to enable them to see the feet of the Lord. God of Gods, I pray that my reward is to only serve in Your name. Feed Madhav and ******(you should say your name here) with happiness in the same way that a cloud feeds the chatak bird with pure water. Please keep your word. Amen.

Bow to Sri Sai -- Peace be to all

The Guru Carries the Amrit - Enjoy It

This classic talk excerpt of Sri Swami Vishwananda is worthy of our remembrance, attention and realization again and again! –Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama:

“Why do you think in all religions they chant the name of God, recite the name of God? Chant the name of the Lord so that you realize the unity between the Atma (soul) and the Paramatman (God). When you realize this unity between the Atma and the Paramatman, what will stay? Only the Paramatman will stay because the only reality of the Atma is the Paramatman. The only reality of the soul is God. Your soul wants to merge with and become one with God. It wants to attain his lotus feet. The one who has realized this will join. Just in the simple name Ram, it can be granted.

“If you take the name of any deity, take the name of Rama, take Krishna, they all have a Guru, they all have a teacher to guide them. They are the embodiment of the Divine fully. They could have said it's okay we don't need one, and that's that, yet they show that in life one needs the blessing of a Guru and the way to receive it is through Satsang, through gathering. In general why do people go to a master and receive what the master is giving? You see, it is because the master carries the amrit, the nectar. Even when you don't perceive it with the mind, you do receive it , through Satsang, through our talk you are receiving something and what you are receiving is contributing to your advancement. What you are receiving, even if you receive it without knowing, is the amrit. So, being in the now is the greatest gift; being in the present moment is the greatest gift. Enjoy the nectar, enjoy the sweetness.”

Love's Pearls of Wisdom by Mahavatar Babaji - 13/10/2011

In reality a Guru is like a spiritual brother. He has conquered the material world, its elements and he has mastered his own physical mind. He has been sent from a higher plane of existence to accelerate your learning of the lessons The Divine has prepared for the human experience to learn so that man can create this same brotherhood with all humanity. It has been said by Lahiri Mahasaya that I said to him at our first meeting in that lifetime in Ranikhet, India: “When one realizes his unity [brotherhood] with mankind, all minds become transmitting stations through which he can work at will.” This is truth and it is also true for the Guru. Make your minds receptive to your Guru’s teachings and instructions as you walk with him on your life’s way. It is not only to be with him physically that he has come into your sphere of reality. He has come to dispel the darkness residing in the very corners of your mind and life. Enjoy his presence, embrace him as an “older and wiser” brother and love him as the Divinity he definitely embodies. In this way you can reap the benefits of the spiritual harvest, the Light the Guru has come to help you gather unto yourself.

Love's Pearls of Wisdom by Mahavatar Babaji

LOVE'S PEARLS OF WISDOM

How can it be that the signs of the times are recognized mainly by the few at the time they are happening? It is said that history reveals the past in a more clear way than when events are occurring in present time. The Spiritual Power of a Satguru is experienced only by the few of the entire population while He is living in bodily form. Then later, even millions of people who never knew Him in the physical come to love and venerate the Master. This is good in itself!

A white dove is a symbol for peace. Signs of the times were revealed to the people at the time of Christ who knew of this sign of the Dove embodied in the Christ. Signs of the times were revealed at the baptism of Jesus by John, the forerunner. It is written correctly that the Spirit of God descended from Heaven in the form of a Dove and a Voice from Heaven declared: “This is my beloved-ed Son in whom I am well pleased.” One of the names of Jesus then and now is “The Peacemaker.” This “peace that passeth all understanding,” comes when one controls the mind and realizes his own Divinity. In his heart he realizes that he is a part of The Divine’s grand design for man, a part of God for eternity.

Today in your time, one of the signs that Prema Avatar and Satguru Sri Swami Vishwananda gives you is that the complexity and plethora of spiritual writing and spiritual teaching through the centuries is very good. Simultaneously, He shows you that there can be simplicity in attaining the Divine. Again and again he teaches you: “When you make your first step through prayer, through chanting, the Divine will run to you. And, it is possible to attain Him. Open up the mind, surrender it to Him, and let the Love which you have inside of you flow. If you have not yet attained this Love, do everything to attain it, because that’s who you are and that’s what you are here for.” –Sri Swami Vishwananda

All people are beloved by God. Harken to the signs of your time and be one of those who realizes the Master and his teachings in His time when He dwells among you. Accept the blessings He brings from on High as he walks and talks with you. Walking with the Master on Earth and having the opportunity to take his teachings to heart is a blessing from the Divine realized by the few!
