Discerning the Master Teacher

Mahavatar Babaji Quote of the Day

Now is the time for you all to go within, as Swami Vishwananda and I say again and again and again. It is time you focus on your own awakening. Whether someone else, even a Master Teacher, is wise, perfect, or has doubts and shares that with you or not is irrelevant to your own progression on the spiritual path. You must discern for yourself your answers to such questions. The Master Teacher will assist you in many ways often not discernible to you. –Babaji http://atmakriya.org/mahavatar-babaji

Swami Vishwananda Quote:

“This is life, actually, how it is that each one is very egoistic and looking for one’s self. Even if people are among a teacher, they don’t know the glory of it; they don’t know the blessing of it. Then afterwards (after the teacher has left Earth), they say, “Oh, how great it was”. When they read about the teacher in books, they say, “How great it was they were among this teacher”. The teacher is a mirror so that you can learn something.

“It is very important to be near a teacher. Our light is very dim in itself. But the more we move closer to the teacher who has greater light, what happens? Our light also gets brighter and brighter. That is why I always say that the teacher is the bridge that leads you to your true Self, your Divine Self. As long as we have not reached there, it is better to be near that light.
- Sri Swami Vishwananda
